Beach Club Resort

One street from the esplanade this property is prime location without being amoungst the rat race. The Property is well designed and is perfect for a romantic weekend away for a couple.

This property is not suitable for large families as the rooms are only designed to accommodate 3 people comfortable.

On the top floor is a fantastic BBQ area featuring a glass bottom pool.

I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend it in the future.

Boathaven spa Resort

This was definitely a beautiful place to stay. The room was fully equipped and we had our own personal spa on the balcony.

The views were a little disturbed with the construction of the new marina but I did not hear anything from this.

This property was situated approx 5 mins walk from the main street in Airlie Beach.

The property was well kept and tidy. It had modern furnishing and was extremely comfortable.

Comments: I thought the property was peaceful. Was not busy and did not see any one really while we were there. The room was comfortable, however there was something wrong with our A/C, However it could have been me operating it

The Property had the appeal of log cabins in a rainforest.

This property is located on the waterfront of Urangan, it is a private haven away from all the uptown traffic and noise. Although the beach is not the most preferred beach in Hervey Bay, It is definitely the most secluded. It is only minutes walk from the marina, which all you boat lovers will enjoy. You can take a walk along the Rock wall, admire the vessels, have a fish or just enjoy a sunset while kicking back on the rocks.

The marina is the home to the Urangan Boat Club. The boat club is a great place to wind down – especially on the weekends as there is always a live band playing. You can join in the dancing or sit back and watch the rest kick off their shoes.

The food here is delightful and cheap, and if you are a drinker, you will find this the cheapest place in Hervey Bay. It is a sure way to enjoy a night out at a low cost.

Island is definitely a lovers getaway. With its gorgeous views a romantic settings, we enjoyed each other company as we swung in the beachside hammock.

Although the Island is small, only taking 15 min to walk from one end to the other; we never ran out of things to do. The activities were endless if you were will to give it all a go. A few things we really enjoyed doing together were:

Snorkelling at lovers cove while the staff did the wild fish feed. There were millions of beautifully coloured reef fish swimming all around you. The sight was unbelievable.

We took the Kayak’s out on in the calm waters, casually paddling around the Island. Snuggled up and watched the open air cinema. The pools are clamorous, but my favourite was the Splashes swim up bar. And of course, I can’t forget the Australiana Mini Golf: that was a golden moment I will never forget. Loser had to buy a round of cocktails……. And guess what……. To my partners discuss, I WON

In conclusion, if you are looking for an affordable romantic getaway, Daydream Island is definitely a place to look into.
