The Coral sea Resort

We stayed the night at the Coral Sea Resort before heading to Daydream Island. This property was amazing, right on the water front. We stayed in an ocean view room, and the views were splendid. There would not be a fault I could pick out in the property, from the friendly staff to the delightful buffet Breakfast.

Speaking of the staff, we actually arrived at 9:00am. As our room was still being cleaned, the manager allowed us to use a bathroom to ‘freshin up’, he then watched over our Luggage until our room was ready.

The location is great. Just a short stroll along the board walk and you are in the heart of Airlie. With it being situated on the peak, you could not hear any noise coming from the wild night life of the locals. In fact it was very peaceful and private.

There is a water sports jetty where you can hire boats and kayaks ETC and of course the restaurant.

The rooms were clean and well presented and the bed was comfortable. There is nothing worse than taking a holiday with a bed that is worse than yours at home.

In conclusion I do strongly recommend this property, from a romantic getaway to a full on wedding ceremony……… It truly is one of the finest places to stay in Airlie Beach..
